Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will be instrumental in the operations of the Sustainable Millwrighting Project. This full-time, remote contract role will require a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about workforce development and has a knack for project coordination. You will assist the Project Director in managing daily activities, support participant case management, and engage with various stakeholders to ensure the project’s success.

This position is perfect for a motivated individual eager to make a difference in the lives of tradespeople while developing their professional skills in a supportive environment.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an organized and proactive Project Coordinator who meets the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a project coordination or support role, ideally related to trades or apprenticeship.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel for outreach and participant engagement as required.
  • Experience in multicultural settings or working with internationally trained professionals is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and foster collaborative relationships with team members, participants, and stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. As a team member, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work while contributing to meaningful initiatives that support workforce development.
