About the Opportunity

We’re currently seeking skilled and safety-focused Riggers to join our team in Victoria, BC. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major construction and infrastructure projects across Vancouver Island with well-respected local contractors.

As a Rigger, you’ll play a key role in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently, supporting crane operations and other trades on-site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up rigging equipment for lifts

  • Secure loads using cables, slings, chains, and hooks

  • Communicate effectively with crane operators and crew members using hand signals and radios

  • Inspect rigging equipment and report any defects or safety concerns

  • Follow all site safety protocols, policies, and procedures

  • Assist with general labour and site tasks as required


Qualifications

  • Previous rigging experience preferred (industrial, commercial, or construction environments)

  • Valid Rigging and Hoisting or Fall Protection certification considered an asset

  • CSO, WHMIS, and First Aid tickets an asset

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
