Job Description
We are currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenters or high-level Apprentices (3rd or 4th year) with a minimum of six months of mass timber experience to join our team for upcoming mass timber construction projects. This role involves the installation and assembly of large-scale engineered wood structural systems, including glulam and cross-laminated timber (CLT) components.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern, large-scale timber structures as part of a professional construction crew. Candidates must be able to read and follow construction drawings, work safely at heights, and maintain strong productivity in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and assemble mass timber structural components, including glulam beams and CLT panels

  • Interpret and follow construction drawings, layouts, and specifications

  • Assist with rigging, hoisting, and positioning of large timber components

  • Work safely at heights and in elevated work platforms

  • Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production targets

  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors and crew members on-site

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Carpenter certification or 3rd / 4th year Carpenter Apprentice

  • Minimum 6 months of mass timber experience required

  • Experience with structural framing or commercial construction considered an asset

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

  • Strong understanding of safe work practices

  • Fall Protection

  • Rigging

  • Aerial Work Platform

  • CSTS

  • WHMIS
