All Level Carptenters – Campbell River and Vicinity

Location: Campbell River and Vicinity
Pay Rate: $27.73 - $50.53 per hour, depending on experience and classification

We are seeking skilled and dependable carpenters with concrete formwork experience to join the UBC Carpenters Union local 527. The ideal candidate will work on a major infrastructure facility in the community, the John Hart Dam.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects while developing your skills in a dynamic environment. We value safety, craftsmanship, and professionalism in all our team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of carpentry, concrete formwork (Peri Experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
  • Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
